Welcome to BILD!
We created BILD as a platform to bring together the bodybuilding community. You can use BILD to connect and collaborate with passion-fueled athletes, experienced coaches, professional experts, and dedicated brands. Here, you can discover, learn, and grow alongside those who understand the triumphs and challenges of the bodybuilding lifestyle. We have some ground rules to help BILD stay safe and open for you and for everyone.
Respect yourself and others.
There are so many places on the internet where you can be a jerk. BILD isn’t one of them.
If you disagree with someone, please do not be disrespectful or bring negative energy into the space we’ve created. If you want to get angry and argue, do it somewhere else. Or better yet, step away from the phone and take a walk.
Here, we are supportive of one another, act in good faith and are open to others and their opinions. We accept and support people of all backgrounds and identities. This includes, but is not limited to members of any sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, social and economic class, educational level, color, immigration status, sex, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, and mental and physical ability.
Racism, sexism, transphobia, queerphobia, ableism, or other forms of bigotry are not welcome nor tolerated here, any instances of such can result in expulsion from the community.
Keep yourself and others safe.
We consider it a community responsibility to keep ourselves and others safe. If you see someone being harmed, harassed, or abused, report that conduct to a node leader or to BILD. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is grounds for deletion from the platform.
If you notice that someone is being unsafe, privately contact node leaders to flag it with them. If the behavior continues and community leaders aren’t addressing it, report them to BILD.
BILD has a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe behavior. If someone is being hurt, we do our best to act immediately.
If users are engaging in patterns of harmful behavior, we will ban them from BILD. If a user has been repeatedly reported or banned from multiple nodes, we may also ban them from BILD.
Don’t pretend to be someone you are not.
Trust is the foundation of our platform. We do not allow the impersonation of private citizens.
Don’t steal other people’s work.
BILD does not allow re-posting of copyrighted materials or other illegal content. Any posts containing illegal content or copyrighted materials will be deleted.
BILD is home to athletes, coaches, experts, brands, photographers, and others who should be recognized for what they’ve produced. We’ve made it easy for you to attribute the original creator of content by linking to their BILD account, website, or alternative social account.
If you are knowingly or repeatedly stealing content without permission, we’ll kick you out.
BILD is not a place for nudity or adult content.
BILD does not allow profanity, pornography, nudity, or sexually suggestive content. Posts containing adult material will be deleted and users who shared those posts may be removed from the platform.
We do not allow spam or unapproved advertising on BILD.
All automated messages, advertisements, and links to competitor websites or platforms will be deleted. We ask that you do not advertise your brands or services on the app without prior approval. For additional information and guidelines around advertising on BILD, please email kayla@bild.social.
Share content into relevant nodes.
On BILD each node provides a space dedicated to a specific purpose. We ask that you share your posts to the relevant node and abide by the respective node code of conduct. Posts shared in the wrong node may be removed by moderators.
Don’t spam anyone or any node.
Be respectful. Don’t post comments on other creators’ pages promoting your own page.
Don’t send a large number of unsolicited private messages asking for support. Do not use bots or other forms of fake engagement.
Each node has its own rules about spamming. If a node owner is spamming using their node owner privileges, you can report them to BILD.
BILD is for people who are older than 18.
We are an app for adults in the bodybuilding space.
Each node owner creates their own node rules.
Node moderators are the pillars of every BILD platform. We trust them to make their own Code of Conduct and lead their communities in a way that best supports their members. However, a Code of Conduct cannot include “do not report” or any similar sentiment that deters members from reporting problematic content.
However, our Ground Rules always come first. When conflict is escalated to the BILD team, we will prioritize the spirit and letter of BILD Ground Rules.
At BILD we do not allow posts that illude to the sale or promotion of steroids or other illegal performance-enhancing drugs or substances.
Any user found to ignore any of the above may be removed from the platform without notice.
As a condition of using the BILD app, you must agree to these Ground Rules, BILD’s Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any of these terms, you may not use the app. Your use of the app demonstrates that you are agreeing to be legally bound by these policies.
